Rick and Amy Warren are the founders of The Pond Solution and inventors of The Solution System. Married 25 years, they have been creating backyard paradises and ponds since 1976.

It all began when Rick combined two of his hobbies - landscaping and tropical fish. Building an outdoor pond seemed only natural. While living in New York, he built his first pond and soon incorporated water features into his landscaping work. As time went on, his love for fish grew, especially koi. In the early 1990's, Florida seemed like the perfect place where he could raise koi year round and his ideas and business could flourish.

Now after years of working with the pond industry's ideas of filtration, Rick started designing and building his own filters.
Following a decade of trial and error, The Solution System was developed and perfected. Over that time they have designed and built hundreds of ponds and consulted on many more. "Analyzing common problems and seeking simple solutions brought us to this concept. The Pond Solution company is a reflection of what we have been doing for decades - providing the pond owner easy, affordable solutions to all their pond needs."

In addition, they custom design and build products for specific needs.
